Heavy rains in recent days have affected various sports in Mexico, which is why the Municipal Sports and Physical Culture Institute of Mexicali (IMDECUF) has announced the closure.
The activities planned for last Friday had to be postponed as it was extremely difficult to carry out in those conditions.
One of the most relevant canceled events was the second leg of the Primera Fuerza semi-final between Alamo Ellas and San Valentin Baja, scheduled for last Friday at 8:00 PM at Campo Necax.
This clash will take place on Sunday, September 11 at 6:00 pm on the same field, 2 hours after the other semi-final between Manchester Vera and Esperanza Agricola.
Another team that saw action last Friday was the CETYS Foxes who were set to face the ITSON Colts at the Mexicali campus facilities.
On the other hand, the South Region League has decided to end the opening day by playing a total of 7 games this Sunday.
In addition to the absence of any activities for scheduled events, sports facilities will remain closed to the general public until further notice.
